NOUN CLAUSE

Noun clause adalah klausa yang menggantikan kata benda.

a.       Subject of verb b.      Subject of complement c.       Object of verb d.      Object of complement e.      Object of preposition

Noun clause dibagi menjadi:

a.    Statement

b.    Question

c.    Request

d.    Exclamation 

1.     Statement (conj: THAT)

a.    Subject of Verb (Biasanya diikuti kata kerja)

Ex:it makes me happy , you win the game

Noun clause: that you win the game makes me happy

b.    Subject of Complement (biasanya diikuti to be)

Ex: this is my happiness , you win the game

Noun clause: that you win the game is my happiness

c.    Object of Verb (biasanya diawali verb)

Ex: rudi realized it , they are rude people

Noun clause: rudi realized that they are rude people

d.    Object of Complement (biasanya diawali to be)

Ex: my happiness is this , you win the game

Noun clause: my happiness is that you win the game

e.    Object of Preposition (biasanya diawali preposition)

Ex: i tink about it , you quit your job

Noun clause: i think about you quit your job

2.    Question

Question dibagi 2:

a.    WH- Question (conj: who, when, where, why, what, how)

Ex:

Ori sentence: she asked this

Question: when will you go to Bali? (rubahlah dalam tenses terlebih dulu)

Noun clause: she asked when you will go to bali

b.    Yes no question (conj: whether, if)

Ex:

      Ori sentence: the police don`t care it

      Question: does he work? (rubahlah dalam tenses terlebih dulu)

      Noun clause: the police don`t care if he works

3.    Request

Ex: my mother advices that , i should go to school on time

Noun clause: my mother advices that i should go to school on time

4.    Exclamation

Ex: i wonder , what a big house it is

Noun clause: i wonder how big the house is
